Top-Two: Will voting for Sean help the Republican?

No, California uses a top-two open primary system. The top two overall vote-getters will move on to the General Election in November. Opening up the possibility for there to be two Democrats on the ballot in November and no Republicans advancing.

How long do I have to mail in my ballot?

We encourage voters to mail ballots by May 23rd. After that date, the best way to guarantee your vote will be counted, will be by voting in person.
